Register in the Referral Program
Welcome to TargetShop.com, the Internet's first virtual consumer community. The following are the terms and conditions for joining TargetShop's referral program. Please read them carefully.TERMS AND CONDITIONS1. You will only refer people you know or users who link to this page from your Web site.2. You will not use any method which could be viewed as 'SPAM' (unsolicited postings or e-mails) to refer people to TargetShop. Spamming is strictly prohibited by TargetShop, and you understand you may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment for disobeying laws or rules of certain network providers or jurisdictions regarding the use of 'SPAM' messages. The only acceptable methods of referring someone to Targetshop are sending e-mail to a friend, or posting a link to our main page (www.targetshop.com) on your own website. You will immediately lose your subscription to TargetShop, as well as any referral bonus you may have earned if this rule is disobeyed.3. You must have a valid e-mail to subscribe to the TargetShop referral program. All e-mail will be checked. Invalid e-mail and double e-mails will not be accounted for. As part of our e-mail verification system, an e-mail will be sent to you within 48 hours of registration. To confirm, you will have to click on the enclosed link, otherwise you will not be added to the program.4. TargetShop will manage and track all referrals under this program and shall have the final word in any disputes regarding referrals. You will be able to check the status of your referral bonus, if any, after May 10, 1999, using your e-mail address or referral number at www.targetshop.com. You will be eligible for the referral bonus only if at the time of the IPO you are on TargetShop's list of members, and you will receive money only for the people you have referred and who are still on TargetShop's list.5. You agree to be added to TargetShop's mailing list for the duration of the referral program, and you will receive up to 3 weekly direct e-mails from us.6. For every person who joins the program using your referral number , you will receive $US 12.50 either in cash or applied to the purchase of company stock--your choice. This offer is limited to the first three million people who sign up, and the maximum referral bonus to be paid to any one person will be $US 1,000. This offer shall be valid only if and when TargetShop files and successfully completes an initial public offering of its shares (IPO). In such a case, you will receive your referral bonus either as a cash payment or applied to the purchase of company stocks within one month after the IPO at the then previling price.7. No assurance can be given that the company shall decide to initiate, apply or file, or be successful in completing an IPO. If the company does not successfully complete an IPO, no referral bonuses shall be due or payable, and subscribers shall have no rights to apply any amounts to the purchase of shares in the company.8. This is not an offer to sell shares. Such offer, if and when made, will be by a prospectus meeting the requirements of U.S. and/or other applicable securities laws. The number of shares available for purchase may be limited, and in such case the company reserves the right to pay all or a portion of the referral bonus in cash. The shares may be subject to restrictions under applicable securities laws.9. No person may have more then one account in TargetShop's referral program. You may not have multiple accounts on different e-mails.10. You must be 18 or older in order to register with TargetShop or to participate in TargetShop's referral program.
